Abstract: Resistance in Practice contains eight pieces written by people within the orbirt or close to the idea of autonomist Marxism. The various authors offer an analysis of autonomist thought, the historical context in which it grew, the development of Negri's political vision away from the Leninist view of the party and the reception to Negri's work both within Italy and outside. The book traces the various splits within the movement and the ongoing debates on the role if any that the party should play in revolutionary organization.
