Abstract: Over 20 women from Canadian Voice of Women for Peace (VOW) attended the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW60) in March along with 4000 other NGOs from around the world - all ages, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. On Thursday, April 28 at 6:30pm at Friend's House, 60 Lowther Ave, Toronto, several of the VOW delegates will report on their experiences - stepping up optimistically to new UN Goals and to old obstacles and opposition.
