The autobiography of folk singer Woody Guthrie.

Abstract:  Woody Guthrie travelled the whole of the United States "by boxcar, thumb, and foot," composing and singing songs that have become "a national heritage." He wrote more than a thousand songs, the best known being "This Land Is Your Land." His autobiography gives us the vision he gained of America through his journey of discovery. The book also contains a foreword by Pete Seeger, a tribute by Stewart L. Udall, and a number of sketches by Woody Guthrie himself. The autobiography is full of interesting anecdotes from his family life, his travelling, his professional life and much more.
