Abstract: The Canadian Down Syndrome Society is a national organization dedicated to ensuring equitable opportunities for all Canadians with Down syndrome. Services include: information and education (web site, newsletter, annual conference, resources and publications); research collaboration; advocacy; public awareness, including National Down Syndrome Awareness Week; Resource Council of professionals; collaboration with local groups and national organizations. Major funding is provided from donations.
