 The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) today condemned amendments to the UK Counter Terrorism Act, which came into force in the UK yesterday.
 
 Abstract:  The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), the regional group of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), today condemned amendments to the UK Counter Terrorism Act, which came into force in the UK yesterday. The amendments contain powers of arrest and imprisonment of anyone who takes pictures of police officers and some other public servants which are "likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism".
