Catherine Karakatsanis, P.Eng., installed as president of Professional Engineers Ontario. Ms Carakatsanus is the fourth woman to be elected president of the association.


Abstract:  Toronto â## (May 11, 2009) â## Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the licensing body for professional engineers in the province, installed Catherine Karakatsanis, P.Eng., as its 90th President during its annual general meeting (AGM) on May 9, 2009, at the Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel. Ms Karakatsanis succeeds J. David Adams, P.Eng., and will lead PEOâ##s 71,500 members and 4900 interns and chair its Council in 2009-2010.
