November 24th to 30th is National Home Fire Safety Week and Canada Safety Council wants all Canadians to protect themselves against fire this holiday season. Being prepared is your best defence against a fire in your home. Make sure you & your family
Abstract: OTTAWA – Fire may be at the top of a homeowner’s biggest worries list, and rightfully so. On average, fire kills eight people each week in Canada. Residential fires continue to account for the largest number of fires in Canada. In 2002, residential property fires resulted in 250 deaths, approximately 82 per cent of the nation’s fire fatalities.
