Hotel workers ratify first collective agreement.
Abstract: Brampton, ON – Housekeeping staff at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriot in Brampton, members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1295, have ratified their first collective agreement.
The agreement provides wage increases of 40 cents per hour in each of the year agreement. Other agreement highlights include:
• Hours of work awarded by seniority
• Improved vacation benefits
• Two additional holidays
• Benefits package improved
