IJV is joining with an array of international organizations and individuals to show our solidarity with the Palestinians, who are under increasing pressure from the Netanyahu government, which is actively working to Judaize Jerusalem.
Abstract: VANCOUVER, BC - The Steering Committee of Independent Jewish Voices Canada has voted to endorse the Global March to Jerusalem, an International non-violent event taking place in Jerusalem on March 30th.
IJV Canada will be represented at the Global March by Vancouver Chapter member Maxine Kaufman-Lacusta, author of Refusing to be Enemies: Palestinian and Israeli Nonviolent Resistance to the Israeli Occupation. Maxine will travel to Jerusalem to join the event in person.
