Abstract: The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) joins the Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) in expressing serious concern over the arrest and detention of a journalist in Dhaka over a Facebook post. The IFJ calls on the government to take immediate action to repeal the ICT Act which continues to be used to suppress freedom of expression.
