Abstract: Toronto, ON - January 20, 2016 - The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) announces that for the month ending December 31, 2015, the assets under management (AUM) for the mutual funds industry totalled $1.23 trillion. Year-to-date, industry AUM increased by $90.1 billion or 7.3%.
Net sales for the mutual funds industry totalled $1.27 billion. Net sales of long-term funds were $1.1 billion and net sales of money market funds were $200 million.
