Abstract: Toronto, ON - June 20, 2016 - The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) announces that for the month ending May 31, 2016, assets under management (AUM) for the mutual funds industry totalled $1.27 trillion. AUM increased by $28 billion or 2.3% compared to April 2016.
Net sales totalled $2.3 billion in May 2016. Net sales of long-term funds were $2.2 billion and net sales of money market funds were $119 million.
