Explains why 114 students occupied the Simon Fraser University administration offices in November 1968, details their arrest, the criminal charges against them and the aftermath.

Abstract:  A group of Simon Fraser University (SFU) students took the position that, while working people in Canada paid for the universities, they did not benefit from them. They spent months documenting cases of discrimination by SFU against other students and set out a list of four key demands for reform. They sought to have their issues discussed by the University Senate but were refused. They then turned to occupation of the adminsitration offices in November 1972 in order to attract public support for their proposed reforms to the university's admission policies.
