Abstract: In her article 'Women and Peace: On visual art and resistance', Wilma Needham describes how a group of women pulled together an exhibit of work by women artists from across Canada on the theme of peace. The exhibition was a catalyst for a number of other events as well, and also led to the production of this volume. Black-and-white reproductions of artwork in the exhibition are an important part of this booklet, as is a section of poetry on the theme of peace. A six-page resource list is also included.
