| Bank imposes 'voluntary' drug testsYear Published:  1990Resource Type:  Article

Abstract:  The Toronto Dominion bank has begun including drug tests in the annual medical exams which its executives are required to take. The tests are supposedly voluntary, but critics point out that under such 'voluntary' arrangements, people stick their necks out if they decline to take them. A bank spokesperson characterized the tests as a "service to employees".
