Big game hunters

Year Published:  1992
Resource Type:  Article

Abstract:  A woman and two men have been charged in California with inviting wealthy trophy "hunters" to kill big cats kept in cages. The "hunters" paid up to $10,000 each to stand in front of the cages and shoot the rare animals, which included two Bengal tigers, a spotted leopard, a jaguar, and a mountain lion. One of those charged is a taxidermist who is said to have stuffed the dead animals for the "hunters".
