A Place to Walk A Naturalist's Journal of the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail Resource Type: Book Published: 1995 Karstad, a naturalist and painter and her husband a herpetologist spent a spring and summer along the lake Ontario shoreline. The resulting product gives us a book filled with drawings, paintings and recordings of the wildlife, flora and fauna. There is also a history of human settlement along the lake and its impact on the natural environment.
